Line Editing is when I read your work line by line, adjusting wording for rhythm and flow, and ensuring continuity of detail, logic, and pacing.

Copy Editing is focused on the mechanics of writing: commas, sentence structure, typos, word choice, grammar, and usage.

A manuscript evaluation is where I address plot, structure, characterization, pacing, language, and mechanics. I won't make any changes to your manuscript, but I will leave comments in the document and give you my comprehensive feedback in a separate letter.

We can communicate via message or a 30-minute Zoom call, and I will schedule your sample edit.
I offer full and partial manuscript critiques, line editing, and copy editing.

The rates I charge for my editorial services are in line with the Editorial Freelancers Association's rate chart. Editing is a skilled service, and my rates reflect that. You will find editors both cheaper and more expensive than me.
