Let Me Introduce Myself

My Background and Qualifications

I am a line and copy editor, proofreader, writer, and book reviewer. I have a B.A. in English from the University of Utah, a TESOL certification from Kennesaw State University, and two copyediting certificates from the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.

My teaching background includes reading comprehension, literature, creative and essay writing, grammar, and English as a Second Language.

Genres I have edited include detective fiction, romance, fantasy, and memoir. I have also edited academic writing in the humanities and business.

Genres I'm interested in also include Gothic Horror, Literary, Thriller, Historical Fiction, Travel, Memoir, and Autobiography.

I am also working my way through Scott Norton's Developmental Editing and How to Read a Book by Adler and Van Doren.

​​​In my spare time, I enjoy travel (15 countries and counting), photography, knitting, and writing. I am currently working on three novels of my own as well as writing essays and blog posts.
